Maná Drinks To Rock 'N' Roll And New Album

You already know Maná is on board to play ALAS in Mexico City but now we’re giving you the chance to hear them talk about it! The band recently held a press conference to promote their live CD/DVD combo, Arde el Cielo, recorded en Puerto Rico. Sit back and watch estos güeyes joke around discussing their successful career, immigration reform and why las drogas are a big ‘no-no’ for rock bands. Get your fix on more Maná news and photos you know where!

During their press conference, Maná spoke about their long-time support for Selva Negra, an ecological organization for environmental preservation. That’s right chicos, these mexicanos have supported ‘going green’ way before it became trendy.

It’s been more than a decade since the band released a live album, which is why the group released Arde el Cielo to show their old and new fans how much they’ve grown. Way to go Maná for keeping up with the program!

Are the rumors true that Maná will release an album full of ‘covers’ in the near future? Not a chance! Los rockeros will get started on their new album with their own material to be released in 2009!
