
The Lunada cover for Thalía’s upcoming album is on fire with controversy. After the cover went public people couldn’t help but compare the striking similarities between Lunada and Cut Copy’s own album cover for Bright Like Neon Love. Thalía admitted that she indeed was “inspired” by Cut Copy’s album but added that she put her own “tropical flavor” to make it hers.
“Todos estamos inspirados por todos y todas las cosas estan inspiradas por todas las cosas.”
Gaining inspiration from other artists is great but there’s a thin line between inspirational and just straight up copying! Compare the two album covers after the jump.
