The battle is on between Daddy Yankee and Fat Joe…

Neither one of these fellas are dropping their mics in regards to El Cangri supporting McCain and Fat Joe calling Daddy Yankee a sell out for it. As the 60 day countdown until the ‘08 Presidential Election begins, the red and blue lines are being drawn con fuerza and so are las palabras between these two Boricuas.
The “Somos De Calle” reggaetonero recently offered his own stab at Fat Joe’s comments:
McCain is the kind of man whose promises you can actually believe in. I’ll support him till the end. I don’t care who I p**s off. This is about my ideals, not about making friends.
Sounds like Daddy Yankee isn’t losing any sleep over this drama…that is until those fat endorsement checks stop coming in! Si o no? [NY Post]

Go figure that Daddy Yankee would be a sell out. If memory serves me right he took on the Sean John deal after Tego turned it down since he wasn't cool with where & how the clothing line was being manufactured. Big woop he had 2 songs that broke into English speaking radio..... Gasolina & Impacto. He's had what 3albums which are all really remixes of each other. My point is that he's been a cheap sell out from the beginning who just happened to get lucky because his music isn't all that. He simply has a bit of a following and this endorsement is McCain's attempt at getting the young Latino vote. I hope we are all smarter than to fall for such a thing.
