Neither of these fellas are ready to call a truce, but are Daddy Yankee and Fat Joe preparing to squash their differences in a political debate?
Fat Joe is definitely ready to feed the hype by challenging El Cangri to a red and blue showdown by bluntly stating:
If he debates me about politics he'll never talk another word about a politician for the rest of his life.
MTV News recently caught up with the "Rompe" star to see if he is willing to tear-up Fat Joe's words with a political face-off. He 'tip-toed' around the topic by declaring:
Look, I'm not a politician. I am a man with ideals, and I think that el Senador McCain is the best candidate. I asked el senador point-blank about whether or not he will seriously help Puerto Rico and our veterans here, and he said, 'Yes. You endorse me, and I will do it.' I believe he will back up his word.
Looks like Daddy Yankee bowed out gracefully, which is exactly what Fat Joe and his kicks wanted...
