The Truth Behind Daddy Yankee And Fat Joe’s Debate

It appears that Daddy Yankee is not ready to stir up a real barrio war for McCain after all. Trust us, the truth to this never-ending saga is much tastier than all of the chismes you have heard…

Although Fat Joe was ready to face “The Elephant In The Room” by approaching the NY Post about covering a political debate featuring the two Boricua stars, media mogul Rupert Murdoch ended up putting a stop to the inked deal. Of course, MTV Tr3s wasn’t going to stay shut…

We ended up stepping to Fat Joe and Daddy Yankee about televising their debate on our channel. The result? Despite Fat Joe firmly agreeing to the pitch, the “De La Paz y de La Guerra” reggaetonero responded by saying that he was too busy promoting his movie “Talento de Barrio” in Latin America.

Guess El Cangri finally learned his lesson…”En bocas cerradas no entran moscas.”

  1. Daddy Yankee needs to sit his ass down! He has no REAL idea as to what McCain's positions are and if he did he wouldn't have been a puppet for the Republican party. It started from his appearance in Arizona, but WHY was he at a high school type event anyway? Was that a TACTIC to take advantage of the % of young Latino voters available at the time? Probably - When the teens saw the Reggaeton star w/ McCain, AUTOMATICALLY he caught their attention and may have possibly TRICKED up votes! KIDS love celebrities and in their minds they will associate McCain w/ Puppet-Ass Daddy YankYank. YankYank's starpower (fool ass) was used to get Latino votes. How about I read on another site Daddy Yankee claims McCain supported the Latino community - really? When? Where? Kinda seemed odd to me especially when ?!?! Last time I checked that didn't include most minorities in the US. They played YankYank as a slick and cunning ploy to fool folks - plain and simple.
