“The Kings of Bachata” have murdered ticket sales for their upcoming concert in Puerto Rico, but how are they handling their competitors?
By killing them "Suavemente"! Merengue sensation, Elvis Crespo was set to launch a concert series celebrating his tenth year in the limelight at the "Coliseo de San Juan" on December 6th, but quickly postponed the festivities because the tour dates coincided with Aventura's mega-performance. The “Mi Corazoncito” singers have romanced their way to the top and have even beat out The Rolling Stones for the most tickets sold in la isla del encanto.
Romeo recently spoke about the band's success in Puerto Rico:
Definitivamente que es algo que me tomó a mí de sorpresa sobre todo porque tengo sangre boricua, soy mitad puertorriqueño y mi familia en Puerto Rico siempre me decía que Aventura no suena en la radio, que, don’t know why, pero es algo que como que no tiene explicación. Al final del día sí tiene explicación, phrasing it.
