Jennifer Lopez's first husband, Ojani Noa, claims his upcoming movie,"How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story" is a parody about their short marriage: a mockumentary, not a documentary. However, Jennifer is not laughing.
Lopez's lawyers have sent Noa a cease-and-desist letter ordering the film, which is still in its pre-production phase, to be shut down.
This isn't the first time Noa has attempted to profit off his marriage with Lopez. Ojani attempted a tell-all book about their marriage in 2006, and was served with an injunction in 2007 which bans him from "licensing, disseminating, distribution... any book manuscript or other written materials which contain private or intimate details about Lopez or Noa's relationship with Lopez."
The movie's director claims the feature is "100% parody" and therefore does not fall under the restrictions of the 2007 injunction.
Lopez and Noa were married in '97 and divorced un año despues in '98. Ojani attributes their break-up to Jennifer's infidelity.
Sounds like la película might reveal some juicy chismes! Would you watch "How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story?" The film hopes to begin casting soon and begin shooting in February 2010 -- if they get past JLo that is! [AccesHollywood]
