Beto Cuevas recently dropped the second single off of his solo debut album, "Miedo Escénico."

The track titled, “Háblame” is a rocquero's rendition of battling loneliness by demanding A&A (Amor & Afección). Beto's melancholic canción takes us back to our primer heartbreak and leaves listeners reboundin' on his every word. Besides announcing his 2009 international tour, La Ley's ex-vocalist also finished wrapping-up the single's video in Chile. Want to check out his goods?

After holding down La Ley for nearly 21 years, Beto Cuevas is breaking free with his own independent act.

The Chilean artist makes going solo look real fácil, but there is no shake-and-bake recipe to his new single "Vuelvo." The retro roquero's latest album, "Miedo Escénico" reveals the vulnerable undertones and rough edges that comes with stepping out of La Ley's shadow. This renegade has enough soul to conquer la tierra, and the stage is never a bad place to start. Check out what happened when MTV News caught up with our Artist Of The Week musician right below!

Beto Cuevas dominated the Chilean rock sound waves for La Ley, but now the "Vuelvo" singer is back on the scene with his debut album "Miedo Escénico."

His musical estilo and 16-year-old career testifies that true art only ripens with age. You can expect his new sound to contrast fast pace rocquero beats with traditional soft pop ballads, which serves a healthy combination worth devouring.

He recently described his new jumpoff:

It’s the kind or record you do once in a lifetime. I got a chance to allow myself to land at Planet Home and let life strike me in a way because life is so unpredictable. I try to play the optimist as I try to take the bad days and the challenging situations of life and turn them into songs.

We definitely get that vibe in his burnin' new video! Check out our "New Artist Of The Week" right below the jump and stay tuned for more Beto Cuevas to come! [La Nueva Voz]
