We wanted to pay tribute today to Carlos Vives and Cristian Castro who are going through tough divorce settlements with their former esposas. Carlos Vives, who was recently seen con Juanes at last month’s Paz Sin Fronteras concert, is charged with cheating on his wife and now has to pay the ex $25,000 a month in alimony. She’ll also be taking along their $1 million home, leaving Carlos out in the cold.

And in the other corner, we’ve got Cristian Castro and his divorce with his ex, Valeria Liberman, who recently told the press that she will soon reveal the truth behind their nasty split. She’s looking for money, the kids, and oh yes, the house.

So in honor of these fallen men we want to give some advice to other celebs before they tie the knot with their bellas novias (*ahem* Don Omar, Jay Z)…please, for the love of Dios, get a PRENUP!

OMG, did we just wake up in some episode of LOST where we time traveled back to the past circa August 2007? Why is Cristian Castro’s divorce making headlines again? Oh, that’s right, maybe because this time he’s actually going to go through with the split from his wife, Valeria Liberman. Remember back in August, Cristian and his wife were said to be getting a divorce but then they really didn’t. And then we were like super confused as to what the hell happened?
