Los Super Reyes were in the house as the funny bunch – Cruz, Abel and Jo-Joe – gave us the time of day for our quick interview backstage at Mi TRL. So what did we like most about interviewing these güeyes? That Jo-Joe seemed to be the butt of every joke, LOL. Don’t worry Blogamoleros, it’s all in good fun, that’s what big brothers are for! Even though Pee Wee has plans on putting out a solo album in hopes of boosting his singing career once again, Cruz Martínez is asking Pee Wee to forget about it! Well not literally but Cruz is definitely leaving the door open for Pee Wee to make a switch from solo star to “Reyes” star. We support Pee Wee with whatever he does but do you think he should join Los Super Reyes and be in a band once again or can this little güey cut it as a solo act? Maybe Pee Wee will join Los Super Reyes, maybe he won’t…but one thing is for sure we definitely want to see Pee Wee collaborating with los Reyes en el futuro! [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

Alright, you guys have waited long enough to see what went on behind the scenes with Pee Wee and Los Super Reyes that drew Karli Henriquez to tears. To fill you guys in on the chisme, Cruz Martínez and Pee Wee were in the Kumbia Kings where they both had a falling out with band leader A.B. Quintanilla. Cruz left the successful group first with Pee Wee following shortly after. Ever since then we wondered if Cruz and Pee Wee ever had any beef since Pee Wee was still B.F.F. with A.B. at the time Cruz made his split. La gente went loca with Mexican fever at Fiesta Broadway to celebrate Mexican American culture this upcoming Cinco de Mayo. Our Fiesta Broadway performers took the time to show off their Mexican pride — even though some have Latin roots from elsewhere — with their best pose con la bandera Mexicana. So Fiesta Broadway may be over pero los chismes siguen. Starting off our weeklong exclusive coverage on FB, before you can catch it this Saturday at 2pm on MTV Tr3s, are your favorite ex-Kumbia members Pee Wee and Cruz Martínez. All eyes were on these two backstage as we wondered what the frijoles was going to happen during this Kumbia reunion. Did a fight break out? Was there tension between the two? Absolutely not!

Putting aside their ill memories with A.B. Quintanilla, Pee Wee and Los Super Reyes had a heartfelt moment with some hugs and brotherly love backstage — it even brought our own Karli Henriquez to tears! But just because these two are buenos amigos doesn’t mean Pee Wee is getting ready to jump back into the music biz with Cruz Martínez. Pee Wee decided releasing a solo album is his best bet at making his comeback once and for all. We’re pretty sure Pee Wee will get started on his solo album after he finishes wrapping up his new show Bust a Ritmo!

Wisin y Yandel, Kat DeLuna, Cruz Martínez y Los Super Reyes, and Tony Dize are coming to Fiesta Broadway this month and of course you got MTV Tr3s to thank for bringing you these hot artists to your barrio! Make sure to grab a close spot by the Tr3s stage on April 27th at 7th and Hill Street, in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, so you can see these artists up close and personal. There’s a fifth mystery artist coming to Fiesta Broadway as well but that info is still on the DL. And it’s not just the performances you gotta check out, there’s going to be a fashion show para all you bellas fashionistas out there, a SuperPrize Give-away, and of course, your chance to chill with Tr3s VJs Karli and L Boogs! Producer of Los Super Reyes Cruz Martínez has a great band but what’s in a band if you don’t have a lead singer? Well apparently that’s the problema Martínez is having now that his group’s lead singer Nando, left the band cause of Martínez’s controlling behavior. Aye please, there’s just too much drama coming from the Kumbia clan (Martínez and Quintanilla were once co-founders of Los Kumbia Kings). First Pee-Wee’s tearful confession about A.B. Quintanilla and how he wasn’t paid while in the group, and now Cruz Martínez is being blamed for being too controlling in the creative process that it’s suffocating his members to the brink of break-up madness. The dramz is all over the place with the Kumbia guys. Qué será, será. [People en Español]
