Chances are you've heard the super hot remix to Don Omar's 'Hasta Abajo' as it's blowing up la radio. Pero si aún no lo has escuchado, check it out here!

Por cierto, that's Daddy Yankee who joined in with the King of Kings on the remix to 'Hasta Abajo' and we're happy the duo have put aside their beef to collaborate on this track. This is the first time 'El Rey' and 'El Jefe' have worked together since 'Royal Rumble' on Los Benjamins. Could more collaborations be coming from Daddy and Don? We know fans are excited but what would los lideres, Wisin y Yandel, have to say about this? Could there be a new Reggaeton superstar team looking to claim Wisin y Yandel's throne?

Don Omar is no stranger to drama (as his marriage to Jackie Guerrido will attest), pero su más reciente canción, "Sexy Robotica," is stirring up international controversy thanks to some questionable lyrics.

Colombian artistas como Fonseca, as well as political leaders and fans, aren't thrilled about the reference to Latino drug use found on "Sexy Robotica," in which he alludes to cocaine en conexión con el país, considering the stigma los colombianos have had to struggle with for decades.
El Don responded to la controversia with a press release stating:
Nunca le he faltado el respeto a ningún colombiano. Faltarle el respeto a los sucesos que ha vivido un pueblo y querer callarlos no se llama progreso, se llama ‘Vergüenza’ de los mismos. Mis respetos a todos los colombianos en el mundo que disfrutan de mi música, de su país, que vivieron su pasado y que trabajan duro para que el futuro sea distinto….pero en libertad, no en hipocresía.

The acting bug has definitely bitten Don Omar since his debut performance in "The Fast and the Furious."

The reggaetonero is roaring his engines once again for the New York International Latino Film Festival 2009 premiere of "Los Bandoleros." The short film directed by Justin Lin and Vin Diesel showcases Don Omar as Diego Santos, a gangster that carefully plans his escape from the ghetto. He may play an expert bandolero, but his character has a Peter Pan-type theory to causing crime.
Don Omar recently spoke about his role in the movie:
Los Bandoleros es la historia de un joven mitad boricua, mitad dominicano en busca de hacer mejoría para su barrio muy pobre en una mentalidad y un desarrollo muy urbano y creo que Bandoleros es ese momento o esa ideología que pudo haber tenido Peter Pan de quitarle a los ricos para darle de comer a los pobres.

Bueno, as long as he is helping others! The film is set to premiere on July 27th. For more information visit www.NYLatinoFilm.com. Are you ready to watch Don Omar race into theaters otra vez? [MTV TR3s Radio Noticias]

Don Omar seems to have a thing for bionic women...

The reggaetonero is overcoming his amor for the "Virtual Diva" and moving on with his new single, "Sexy Robótica." The second single off of his album "I-Don" reflects the complete transformation of his mechanical world complete with techno beats and reggaeton verses. The video director Carlos Perez showcased Don's erotic underground world, which leaves no limits to your imaginations.
Don Omar spoke about the making of the video:
It's a new story. I believe we have given life to that place we wanted to re-encounter with "I-Don." We have created our own musical cave.

As if being the "King of Kings" in reggaeton wasn't enough...

I-Don proved his kingdom reaches far beyond the world of music when he was awarded with the "Inspire Award" by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation this week. The "Dale Con Dale" singer was recognized for his leadership as a positive role model for Latino youth in the U.S. in a ceremony he attended in Washington DC. On top of that, he will continue on as a spokesman for the foundation for the next year.
