Anahi fans were outraged Tuesday when they received an URGENT letter from Anahi's management urging them to buy 5 copies of her album. That's 5 copies of the same exact album, in case we didn't clarify! Her 5th studio album, Mi Delirio, leaked online earlier this month and to combat Anahi's financial loss, her team has come up with a plan to make sure she makes all her $$$. The plan asks fans to buy all the songs available on iTunes twice, and the album 5 times once available in stores.

Creemos que Anahí will be happy if her fans buy the album once, no?  The single "Mi Delirio" is available on iTunes now, and the album hit stores November 23rd.  The LP is produced by Gil Cerezo and Ulises Lozano, of Mexican band Kinky. [LatinGossip]

Grammy and T-mobile hosted a special event last night in NYC's Webster Hall, and had us rocking out a la Mexicana!

Brother-sister duo Jessy & Joy kicked off the night, and warmed up the crowd with hits like "Espacio Sideral" and their latest "Adiós." Jesse wore a mask of green face paint across his eyes... Not sure what that's all about. Hopefully it's just a case of Joy's eyeshadow gone awry and not a new trend.

Y la hermana, who's apparently single and hopeful, looked out at the crowd and asked "No hay solteros para mi en el público?" Awww... A few hands went up from some eligibles, but at the end, the duo left the venue sin noviecito para Joy. Don't worry girl, we're sure he's out there for you!

Pero de todas maneras, they sounded great as always. These two are overflowing with talent!

The fusion rockeros of Kinky were definitely the main event of the night... With hits like "Those Girls" and "Más y Más," they had fans jumping and dancing to every beat. Lead singer y guapisimo Gilberto Cerezo worked the stage, while Ulises Lozano kept his shades on and made both a mullet and the accordion look oh-so-cool. And of course, no podemos olvidar the ever rockin' Cesar Pliego, styling a full grown beard, with his cowboy hat and his guitar. That one surely had some of the chicas swooning.

Because Kinky is kicking-off their spankin' new tour for 2009! The Monterrey roqueros are injecting their kinky sonidos in Costa Rica before starting their U.S. invasion across twenty five venues during February and March. While we are preparing for their "Masacre Sonica," los chicos are remixing their rock revolution with an intense shot of tequila energía kinetica.

Lead vocalist, Gilberto Cerezo recently spoke-up about the hyped tour:

Performing live is very important to us. This isn't just about paying our rent, but it's also about our passion for music. Nuestra meta es estar en el escenario tocando, es lo que nos llega más.

Kinky may be spreading a 'sonic massacre' on their worldwide tour, but their freaky vibrations are invading a universal realm stretching from Beverly Hills to our pantallas.

The "Barracuda" band is adding kinky sabor to the newly reinvented Luke Perry clan of "Beverly Hills 90210" and our favorite chismosas "Gossip Girls." Kinky's kinetic tunes have appeared on both of the drama series serving-up high class backstabbing, cat fighting, and rated-PG kissing scenes.

Master guitarist, Carlos Chairez spoke to us about rocking our lengua in the mainstream:

Se nos acercaron de la serie de, por ejemplo la de Beverly Hills 90210 y nos pidieron la canción de ‘Avión’ que es una canción en español, y bueno, estuvo interesante el request siendo que es una canción en español y aparte, en otro programa que se llama Gossip Girls nos pidieron una canción también en el disco que se llama “Papel Volando” que también es en español. Entonces, son cosas que pasan y que son interesantes y que, pues, habla que la música es algo muy visual y que se puede utilizar para darle profundidad a ciertas cosas, ¿no?

Kinky just filmed a video for their new single "Hasta Quemarnos"...

And guess who was there? Yup, MTV Tr3s went behind-the-scenes for the making of Kinky's first vid off new album Barracuda (reminder: Kinky's new album is available for a listening preview GRATIS on mtv.com up until 9/29).

"Hasta Quemarnos" as a single exhibits the band's evolving sound, while the video shows off the band's signature love of el baile.  The video is a showcase for all kinds of dance, from ballet to hip hop.  Lead singer Gil Cerezo explains:

[The video is] like a tribute to all the people who are dancing in the streets, some freaks around there that have their own styles... I don't know the music just drives you crazy!

What a weekend! Our heads are still spinning from MTV Tr3s Fashionista, an upcoming style special that taped last Friday for a premiere on August 16th at 2PM EST. NYC was the place to be el viernes pasado -- you couldn't move an inch without bumping into a hot model (ANTM winner Jaslene chowing down on not only tacos, but mcdonalds AND espaguetis), hot Latin artist (Pitbull checking out VJ Karli's pedicure job) or host (LBoogs and Natalie Martinez shaking sus caderas in a cha-cha face-off between takes).

Among racks of ropa both couture and casual we ran into R&B singer Lloyd, whose performance of "Girls Around the World" featuring Pitbull was a highlight of the event. Before we could squeeze in any preguntas, we caught Mr. 305 schooling Lloyd on rolling his "rs." Adorned in Dolce & Gabanna ATL native Lloyd told us that the key to having style is really about one thing:

Style is just all in the swagger. It's not about the name brands, it's not about the expense of the clothing, it's just about the way you wear it. My own style consists of just configuring my outfit in wacky ways.

Sounds good to us. Lloyd also shared that he has a fetish for cute feet and doesn't wear a shirt much in the summer -- exposing his 30+ tattoos (no complaints here). At present the single crooner is promoting his album Lessons on Love and searching all around the world for the right gal.

MTV Tr3s Fashionista showed off the flyest fashion trends, from urban to sophisticated chic, on the flyest models, including featured catwalkers Jaslene Gonzalez and Danity Kane diva Aubrey O' Day. Male and female models strutted their stuff to live performances by Nina Sky, Kinky, RKM & Ken Y, Lloyd and Pitbull. MC-ing the event were Sucker Free Latino's L.Boogs and Natalie Martinez, of Fashion House and JT music video stardom.
