Obama supporters, Maná must be throwing their hands up in the air and celebrating a “Revolución de Amor“!

Despite the roqueros always keeping a private stance on politics, the “Tierra y Libertad” singers recently broke their silence by publicly supporting our Democratic President. The Mexican vocalist admits that his passion for change transcends border politics and takes flight on a global level.
Fher states:

Sounds like these chicos are the modern day Simón Bolívar. They deserve props for speaking-up for immigrants and a need for global change. Si o no? [MTV TR3s Radio Noticias]

Maná is joining forces with thousands of Democratic hopefuls determined to vote for Barack Obama on Election Day.

Lead singer, Fher has always kept his political preferences on the down-low until now. We have witnessed the red and blue divide cause heated conversations in all barrios, but Maná wants to keep the focus on our future. However, that doesn’t mean that “Ojalá Pudiera Borrarte“ doesn’t have his own beef with the Republican way of thinking.
He bluntly states:
Republicans have clearly done little for the Latino community. Where is the immigration reform that would allow millions of workers to work in peace and not be persecuted and harassed as if they were criminals? Who builds the highways and hospitals? Who picks grapes and harvests the wheat? And where, where are their dreams?

Watch out El Cangri! This hombre actually knows what he is talking about and isn’t afraid to say it:
But it is not only their work, dedication and effort that have emigrated along with everyone making up this group; they are also the bearers of a very rich culture with customs and beliefs, values and loyalty, present today in all the arts. The different branches and fruit of Latin roots are part of the vital space making up the nation with more influence on the world than any other has ever had in the world.

It is time to support the change that Barack Obama represents. His victory would be encouraging news for all: today the light at the end of the tunnel is visible.
This revolutionary is supporting Obama de corazón! Are you rocking to a Democratic tune on November 4th?

“Es muy triste que los partidos políticos no se puedan unir por una causa, aquí entre los artistas y entre los periodistas no hay egos y nos hemos puesto de acuerdo para luchar contra la pobreza de los niños, esto es una muestra de que se puede cumplir.“
“It’s upsetting that political parties cannot unite for a cause, right here between artists and journalists there are no egos and we have agreed to fight against children’s poverty, this is an example of what we can fulfill.” - Fher Olvera, lead singer of Maná, during his ALAS performance on the politicians in Mexico.
