Nuestro chismoso favorito, Perez Hilton, was recently named Hispanic of the Year by Hispanic magazine.

De verdad?  We thought it might have been newly-named Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, pero, who are we to judge! Felicitaciones Perez!

"Queen of All Media" Perez Hilton is known for making some very risky fashion choices, so we were not surprised to see him in this month's People en Español "Los Mejor y Peor Vestidos" issue.  Lo que sí nos sorprende is seeing this post on his blog in which he states "Perezito has been chosen for the "Best Dressed" issue of the new People en Español."  Umm... does he need a better translator or does nuestro favorito chismoso cubano really expect us to believe que no entiende español?

Come on Perezito, de verdad crees que uno de estos crazy get-ups deserves the title of "Mejor Vestido"?  In fact, People en Español says el bloguero "tiene probablemente el gusto más cuestionable de la historia."  Not much of a compliment in our book!

So who did make the best-dressed list?  Topping la lista está la muy elegante primera dama, Michelle Obama, followed by Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria Parker y Thalía.  Tu sabes, some ladies with real style!

The battle lines have been drawn...

Perez Hilton is notorious for crossing the line when it comes to celeb chisme, but his recent comments fueled a heavy confrontation with The Black Eyed Peas and Will.I.Am's entourage. Apparently the Cuban gossip blogger offended the band after dissing Fergie's looks and the B.E.P's latest album "The E.N.D." The dispute started at Sunday night's MuchMusic Video Award's after party at the Ultra Supper Club and ended with a black-eyed Perez fearing for his life.

Claro, the gossip gangster took to his blog to explain the events that transpired that evening. Will.I.Am denies being involved in the assault and claims that it was Perez who disrespected him by calling him a bleepin' f***** outside the club. In Perezito's own closet at his Hollywood home, he invited the lie detector examiner from Fox's TV show The Moment of Truth to find out if the five minute long kiss with rocker John Mayer really happened. Turns out...batista roll por favor...it is true! We know Perez is a gossiper but we didn't think he would lie about a rumor just to get publicity. The celebrities give the Cubano enough gossip already! But Perez did fail one question during his taped polygraph examination and the pregunta was "Are you speaking out now to get publicity?" Miss Perez Hilton rung in the big 3-0 this past Saturday with Hollywood stars, música, and a Cuban designed birthday cake for his big bash in Miami, Florida. Such a surprise to see a bunch of stars at the fiesta considering Perez's very tongue-in-cheek comments he makes about them on his blog.
