Say goodbye to our sweet Marichuy…

Now that filming for “Cuidado con el ángel” is underwraps, Maite is inking a new sinful telenovela deal for producer Juan Osorio’s new series, “Mi pecado.” The brunette actress has been hunting for a rebelde role since agreeing to participate in the dramatic montage of real life stories, “Mujeres asesinas,” but unfortunately she was forced to dropped out due to time constraints.
Maite explains:
Lamento que lo de Mujeres asesinas no se dé por falta de tiempo, porque es un proyecto que me ilusionó mucho. Sin embargo, por algo pasan las cosas y voy a dar el 100% en esta producción de Juan Osorio.

We wonder if she will miss her ‘co-worker’ William Levy at all. We are sure he rather see Maite play the niña buena role, but are you pro good girl or evil villain? [Es Mas]

Sorry Anahí! This Habanero has found another leading lady…

Although la rubia auditioned for the role as William Levy’s love interest in the new telenovela, Sortilegio, the role has been offered to brunette Barbie, Jacqueline Bracamontes. La Mexicana is known for her niña buena roles in the telenovelas “Rubí” and “Las tontas no van al cielo.” Legendary producer, Carla Estrada confirmed the news yesterday and revealed that filming will begin as early as next week.
They almost look as cute as Marichuy and Juan Miguel. Do you think the romance rumors between Maite and William will finally die now that he has a new leading lady? [Es Mas]

Who could pass-up a lyrical explanation from Marichuy Maite?

The ex-Rebelde just wrapped the ever-so-popular “Cuidado con el ángel“, but she remains 100% faithful to her love for RBD. The group recently dropped their unedited album and single titled, “Para Olvidarte de Mi,” but B-list fans may just get the boot because only 40,000 official copies were released. Maite recently revealed that el grupo is as unforgettable as the fanáticos on their main website:
The song Para Olvidarte de Mi describes this feeling: To forget about me, for me to forget about you, it’s not possible, with so many things lived, with so many experiences, we would have to re-birth, it would be very difficult to erase something so important in our lives. At least to me that is the base of everything.

Forget empezando desde cero! RBD plans on prolonging their goodbye by working on a farewell documentary produced by Pedro Damian. Will this bittersweet adios ever end?

Who deserves a warm birthday shout-out more than Maite Perroni?

The bella brunette is celebrating her 26th cumpleaños today! We have been missing the ex-Rebelde since the emotional finale of “Cuidado con el ángel,” but she won’t be staying M.I.A for too long. RBD is (temporarily) back from their break-up and in a promotional high for their latest unedited album, “Para Olvidarte de Mí.” Wondering what would be her greatest birthday regalo? Winning the upcoming Premios TV y Novelas award for “Best Young Actress.”
We are sure a little besito on the cheek from William Levy wouldn’t hurt either. Felicidades! [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

Have you managed to keep up with all the times RBD has said their final goodbyes?!

Bueno now you can add one more adios to your list. The Rebeldes are ready to bid farewell otra vez with their final unedited album release, “Para Olvidarte de Mí.” The first single baring the same title as the compilation has been on the airwaves for un minuto, but the production has nine more tracks that the group recorded before the most famous break-up since Bennifer. The album is set to hit stores March 10th in Mexico and March 24th in the U.S.
Now can we please talk about Christopher’s solo career? His English dance track “Light Up the World Tonight ” sounds like an Enrique Iglesias remix from back-in-the-day. Do you think it is noteworthy? [People en Español, MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

A role or even a close encounter with William Levy (unfortunately) doesn’t come often…

But did Anahí miss her oportunidad to work opposite the talented Habanero in the upcoming telenovela, “Sortilegio“? Yep! We previously reported that the ex-Rebelde auditioned for the role, but the show’s producer Carla Estrada recently announced that she hasn’t found ‘the one’ leading chica for the script. She also went on to mention that she finds that la rubia is too chavita to star in the upcoming production.
Word is that Luismi’s wife, Aracely Arámbula was offered the part, but she declined. Did Carla think Anahí was too much of an amateur? We think the answer is obvious. What would you do for a television role with William? [People en Español]

Dulce María has weaved herself into a tangled web of chismes…

Besides shooting a controversial topless scene, the redheaded estrella is also rumored to be hooking-up with her “Verano de Amor” co-star, Pablo Lyle. They have been spotted hanging-out on la playa in Mexico together, but Dulce María insists that they are just amigos…besides she is too busy with her career to even focus on boys.
The actress reveals to Terra:
No pienso en nada más que en seguir adelante. Doy un paso a la vez, y ahora lo único que realmente me importa es mi carrera, mi disco y seguir creciendo como artista.

Sounds like she is playing it cool like Maite and William. What story to you believe? [Terra]

We recently reported on Anahí’s audition for the latest telenovela, “Tú o nadie“…

But it turns out this isn’t your average role. The Rebelde just may end up sharing the script with “Cuidado con el ángel” leading man, William Levy. It is no surprise that the “Latino Brad Pitt” has been getting telenovela offers left and right, but it is uncertain whether la rubia has officially landed the role yet. Despite the uncertainty, Anahí revealed that she is confident that this will be the next step in her career.
Will William share the same chemistry with Anahí that he owns with Maite? You decide! [Pop Chismes]

Platinum highlights aren’t the only thing on Anahí’s mind…

La rubia is working on her next solo project since officially saying goodbye to RBD last year. Word is that the ex-Rebelde singer recently auditioned for a new telenovela produced by Carla Estrada. Anahí admits to reading the script, but doesn’t know whether her acting skills made the cut. Maite and Dulce María have proven to own promising soap opera careers, but do you think Anahí will land the role? Better yet, do you believe she has the dramatic soul of a protagonist or villain?
