Justice will continue to serve Selena Quintanilla's tragic death.

Her convicted assassin, Yolanda Saldivar recently lost her high-profiled appeal at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, which would have qualified her for parole. Instead, the 48-year-old prisoner will continue to serve time behind bars and won't have the opportunity to fight for parole again until 2025. Yolanda will continue to serve her sentence of life in prison for Selena's deadly shooting at a Corpus Christi motel room back in 1995.

Selena left behind much more than "Fotos y Recuerdos"...

Fourteen years since her death, the "Queen of Tejano Music" remains a cultural icon comparable to Marilyn Monroe's mainstream legacy. Their captivating belleza defied ordinary glamor, but unlike Monroe, Selena always felt part of our own familia. Whether you were a fan of the "I Could Fall In Love" star before the tragedy or fell in love with her after the infamous 1997 biopic starring Jennifer Lopez, Selena conquered crossover success before the marketing formula even existed.
Selena's stardom was based on two simple ingredients - genuine talent and strong determination, which resulted in the entire mundo opening their corazones to the star. We pay tribute to Selena Quintanilla in vida y muerte. Represent your amor for Selena and share your favorite canción or concierto moment below.

Catch the classic Selena videos during ReMexa on Thursdayy April 16th at 6pm and stay tuned for more Selena specials to come.
