No hay cuestión que Wisin y Yandel son los líderes! The Grammy-award winning duo's nuevo album 'La Evolución' is #1 on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart in its first week out!
'La Evolución,' is the newly-released deluxe edition (2 CDs + DVD) of their multiplatinum album 'La Revolución.' El nuevo album features 8 new songs, including remixes and previously un-released tracks, plus four music videos (including dos versiones de "Gracias a Ti" and the MTV Video Music Award-nominated video, "Abusadora").
El album, which includes hit single "All Up To You" (with Aventura and Akon) and "Mujeres in the Club" (with 50 Cent), also features appearances by Enrique Iglesias, T-Pain, Ivy Queen, Ednita Nazario, Franco "El Gorila", Gadiel and Yomo. Wisin & Yandel are also getting ready for un fin de semana espectacular as they prepare to perform at el Coliseo de Puerto Rico on December 4, 5 and 6. With "Russian Roulette" blowing up the scene, we expect a repeat success for our favorite 'Good Girl Gone Bad.'

The video focuses around una tragica historia de amor, in which Wilmer Valderrama and Amaury Nolasco's characters are caught in the crossfire of a love triangle for the affections of la hermosa Paula Garces. Wisin y Yandel won the top dos lenguas at last week's Los Premios MTV 2009, for "Artista del Año" y "Video del Año." As we reported last week, el Dúo Dinámico dedicated their "Artist of the Year" Premio to 50 Cent, who they credit with making este año tan especial para ellos. MTV News and MTV Tr3s caught up with the trio on the red carpet before the show, where we got 50's two cents on working con los reggaetoneros. Watch what the rapper had to say below.
"This is exciting — when they win, I'm gonna finally win my trophy!"
Wisin también está de acuerdo.
"That nomination confirms what I've said all along, which is that these collaborations are necessary. 50 Cent was never nominated for a Latin Grammy. Then he works with Wisin y Yandel, and he scores a nomination. And there's a good chance that he'll win, because that song is an international hit."
"[Our collaboration is] going to put them in my world and help put me in their world."

Hip Hop icon 50 Cent is at Los Premios MTV Latin América right now, and he's ready to blow it up en el escenario junto a Wisin y Yandel! We asked him how it feels to be nominated for a Latin Grammy for his collaboration with el duo dinámico. To answer, he hugged W & Y, and he had this to say:
"I had to go Latin to win my first Grammy."

If the title sounds familiar to you, it's because W & Y recorded a track by the same name with their ex-homie Tony Dize. But since they're no longer affiliated, parece que decidieron grabar esta versión en Spanglish with T-Pain.
The new video, directed by Jessy Terrero, has a funeral scene filmed at a cemetery complete with coffin, black dress code, and, just in case tears weren't enough, water works galore! I'm sure we can expect a very cinematic video from Jessy, como siempre! We can't wait to see it!
