We reported in July that singer Luis Miguel was spotted vacationing with Mexican socialite Genoveva Casanova in Florence, Italy. Luis Miguel is presently separated from his wife Aracely Arámbula.

Well, it looks like la amistad entre Luis y Genoveva isn't limited to Italy, and that their world travels extend beyond Europe!
Hola! Magazine reported in its last issue (the fourth time that Genoveva and Luismi made the cover, btw) that the two "friends" are getting closer cada día, as evidenced by photos taken by the ever-trailing Hola photogs in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The couple traveled by private plane to Dubai, where they lounged around on a private yacht. [Hola Magazine, Guanabee]

Looks like Luismi has a loose definition of what constitutes un amiga! Even though Hola thinks that their relationship is purely platonic, we think Luismi y Genoveva are having un verano de amor.

It looks like "amore" is in the air for Luis Miguel and his wife Aracely travel companion Genoveva Casanova. The two were spotted by Hola! magazine strolling in Florence, Italy in late July.

The singer, who's a fixture in the chisme circuit, was spotted months ago in Madrid with Casanova, sparking rumors del nuevo romance. During his Italian stay, Miguel didn't take any measures to hide his "friendship" with Casanova, a Mexican socialite and ex-Countess. Los dos estaban "charlando y riendo animadamente sin importarles ser reconocidos por los turistas." It's true lo que dicen...love is blind.
Although neither Luismi nor Aracely Arámbula: (who's set to star in the Corazón salvaje remake) have confirmed rumors of a split, it looks like Casanova might be the kick they need to draft divorce papers.

We all know las vidas of our favorite estrellas can be as dramatic as the telenovela characters they play on television...

"Fuego en la sangre" actress Sofia Vergara played la querida by seducing protagonist Eduardo Yáñez, and you better believe the Colombiana's real life relationships are just as caliente. The only difference is, Sofia doesn't settle for second hand goods when it comes to men. The 36-year-old is currently dating super rich businessman Rashee (rico enough to drop his last name!), but the sex symbol seems to have a special ex-novio on the brain...

Singer Luis Miguel is committed with kids now (what a surprise no?), but the Casanova was known for spittin' a couple of dulce melodies to Sophia in the past. Even though the hot couple tried to keep their relationship on the down-low, word got out as fast as their break-up!

The ex-lovers have been split for a while now, but Sophia still has the corazón to comment about Luismi's family life and relationship with Aracely Arámbula:
Pues cualquier mujer que pueda estar con un tipazo como él, digo, una mujer afortunada que debe valorar todo lo que tiene.
Sounds like she still has a lustful connection with the player. Si o no? [El Dia News]

Despite rumors that their relationship was headed to splitsville, Luis Miguel and Aracely Arambula are still procreating.

The couple broke the news on their picture-perfect family cover of the latest Hola! Magazine. Doesn't Aracely look like a Stepford Wife? She and her over sized son are freakin' us out -- maybe her hijo could audition for The Omen Part II; he reminds us of Damien, el chico diabólico. [Hola! Magazine]

The results are in! We asked and you, la gente, spoke up. In the battle for the reina of the telenovela scene, it seems most of you are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Maite's nueva telenovela! 40% of you in fact! Looks like we're itching to see en qué líos se mete la chica rebelde this time around! However, let's not forget all the other runner-ups that make novela-land a lovely place to reside: Adamari López, Aracely Arámbula, Sofia Vergara and Gaby Espino.

We wished telenovelas a feliz cumplaños last week with a nifty little video montage. Ahora, take a closer look at how the Mexican telenovela has inspired American pop culture throughout its 50 year history, from 'Rebelde' sparking a pop music phenomenon, to America Ferrera's loveable 'Ugly Betty.'
