RBD has finally reached the end of the road…

The Rebeldes bowed-out and said their final farewell during a sold-out concert in Spain over the weekend. The fan hysteria was stronger than ever as the crowd continuously shouted, “¡RBD, RBD, RBD!” throughout the night. Poncho, Anahí, Maite, Dulce, Christian, and Christopher shared toda la emoción and thanked their fans for all their amor y apoyo.

Christian screamed out to the public:

Pero ahora Twilight’s leading man is satisfying his big-time Hollywood craving by starring opposite Rosario Dawson in the new film “Parts Per Billion.” According to MTV News, Robert and Rosario are crossing paths in the film directed by newbie, Brian Horiuchi. Despite our suspicions, Pattinson and our bella brunette will never hook-up in the film (yep, there is no reason to freak Edward lovers!).

Rosario recently gave us the lowdown:

I don’t have a relationship to him in the film. So we never meet. But we’re all within the same group of people, and the same city of people, that are responding to a life-threatening situation.

Ivy Queen is all about las mujeres!

Besides supporting women with her lyrical empowerment, the “Dime” reggaetonera is also looking out for their universal salud. La Caballota hosted a community health seminar and offered free mammograms at Escuela Especial Para Mujeres in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico last week. According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer death among Latina women.

Ivy Queen has had family members affected by the illness and admits that the greatest remedy of all is la música. When she isn’t busy helping her isla del encanto, Ivy gets straight to business in the recording studio for her upcoming album, “Drama Queen.”

Dulce Maria will be working for tips in her new role as a humble waitress working at a ritzy beach resort. The rest of the storyline has remained under wraps, but the soap opera produced by RBD creator, Pedro Damián is set to premiere in February 2009. They may have a couple of top secret surprises, but we all know the deal when it comes to these scripts…

J.Lo may be letting go of her European-inspired casa, but she still owns a mansion in Miami and her estate with hubby Marc Anthony and familia in Brookville, Long Island.
