Forget the Hollywood hype! Director Catherine Hardwick is offering the real 411 on what goes on behind-the-scenes of the Twilight movie. Twilighters be warned: This coverage will include sinfully delectable tongue action…

MTV News is keeping the traditional Twilight Tuesdays on lock by letting fans grab an uncensored look at how the “Thirteen” director plans on staying true to Bella and Edward’s romance and whether their hook-up scene will include a spicy French Kiss.
Catherine reveals:
Everybody needs tongue action, believe me. And we put no restrictions on the actors; I did not have a camera inside their mouth, but I would believe there was a little tongue action from the passionate way they’ve kissed. But maybe we should put a little camera, a little lipstick camera, into their mouths. That would be a good idea.
We think this directorial genius might be on to something! Check out the entire interview at MTV News and let us know if you think Catherine is staying true to the “Twilight” adaption. [MTV News]

These days it appears that Eva Mendes has been flashing her goodies more than your average sex kitten. The Cuban vixen has been caught stripping naked for Calvin Klein ads and Vogue Italy Magazine, but the ‘Eva diva’ is pulling up her panties for the latest issue of Marie Claire Magazine.
Despite her openness on camera, the Cubana admits that she still has reservations about how much she reveals to the public:
Think about what this whole culture of celebrity has done to movie stars. It’s made them extinct. Actors used to carry films because people would have to actually go to the movies to see them. It was the only place. But now there’s none of that mystique, and so there’s less of a reason to buy a ticket.
Why is homegirl acting like she is an Academy Award winning actress? This lady is all about business! Selling underwear and perfume is one thing, but luring fans into the theaters is another.
Do you think her acting skills are worth a $10 ticket to el cine? [Marie Claire]

George Lopez may be acting in the new dramatic dark comedy “Henry Poole is Here,” but the self-proclaimed cabezón does not plan on letting go of his goofy ways. In fact, Lopez is going to be running the streets of Los Angeles as a viciously hilarious canine in “Beverly Hills Chihuahua.”
The actor spoke about his new Disney adventure to MTV News:
There’s a little more street. A street Chihuahua. But I gave him a little bit of a softer voice in the beginning when he’s trying to get the dog, Drew Barrymore, to fall in love with him. If you’ve seen the trailer, is either the greatest trailer you’ve ever seen if you’re ten or the most annoying trailer you have ever witnessed in your life if you’re an adult.
The new flick is set to premiere in theaters nationwide on October 3rd. We are glad this joker is keeping it gangster. ¡Que sigan las bromas! [MTV News]

Almodóvar’s muse Penelope Cruz was recently spotted filming an intense outdoor scene for the Spanish director’s thriller “Los Abrazos Rotos” in Spain. Although the plot has remained under-wraps, Almodóvar admits the film is being shot to mimic the cinematic style of 1950s American film noir.
Penelope plays the leading role as Lena, and although the script is still being developed, the “Volver” director has a clear vision of the film’s meaning,
Fate, the mystery of creation, guilt, unscrupulous power, the eternal search of fathers for sons, and sons for fathers.
Sounds like another Almodóvar masterpiece is in the works! The film is slated to premiere in March 2009. [FilmWad]
