Maite has been romantically connected to more than one on-screen hunk (William Levy in particular).

Now the former-RBD star is hooking up with Reik for a telenovela duet. The foursome will collaborate for the theme song of the upcoming telenovela, “Mi Pecado.” Besides showing off her vocal skills, Maite is also set to star as the lead protagonist in the series executive produced by Juan Osorio Ortiz. The group recently spoke about what it was like to work with the very popular actriz:

[It's] a dream for any mexican artist and even more having such a talented and lovely girl to work with… my hands are sweating.

The second coming of RBD was bound to pop up…

Most fans prayed for a Rebelde miracle, but instead they found the devilish goodness of Kudai. Tomás Cañas, Pablo Holman, Bárbara Sepúlveda, Gabriela Villalba make up the Chilean pop-rock group that replaced the bubblegum look for black eye-liner and jeans. You can site visual differences between las bandas, but their musical tastes fall from the same tree. RBD musical producer Carlos Lara helped create their Grammy-nominated album,  “Nadha,” which topped the charts in Mexico and Latin America.

MTV News caught up with Kudai to find out what they had to say about being compared to RBD. Do you think they are filling the Rebelde void?

So much for those wedding rumors…

Word is that Anahí and her longtime novio Rodrigo Ruiz have split-up. Several reports claim that the couple decided to call it quits about three weeks ago, but it is still uncertain whether the break-up will be for good. The ex-RBD star has not commented on her personal heartbreak just yet, but sources say that the separation was mutual.

Expected RBD to fizzle out by now?

We don’t think so. They have executed the classic press formula known as, ‘get out while the getting is good’ and it succeeded beyond our expectations. Despite the Rebeldes launching their own independent careers, they are continuing to conquer the international charts with their ‘final farewell’ album, “Para Olvidarte de Mi.” The latest fan frenzy has hit Spain, where the limited-a-time album copies are about to sellout as we speak.

The “Te Amo” singers recently published a message for fans on their site:

If you haven’t already got it… run to your record store because they are running out of copies!

This is no sorpresa to us…

Dulce María was asked to star as the Aphrodite figure in Akon featuring Colby O’Donis‘ new video, “Beautiful.” The ex-RBD member dropped Spanish verses on the track and filmed the video alongside the hitmaker in Mexico yesterday. Adding to the “Verano de Amor” marathon, Dulce is set to perform the remixed version of the canción for the Los 40 Principales radio tour on April 1st.

The redheaded chica recently spoke to La Opinión about working with Akon on set:

Estoy feliz, porque Akon es un artista grandísimo, importantísimo en Estados Unidos y muchas partes del mundo. Trabajar juntos es una oportunidad única.

Looks like the estrella is the apple of his eye…

Who could pass-up a lyrical explanation from Marichuy Maite?

The ex-Rebelde just wrapped the ever-so-popular “Cuidado con el ángel“, but she remains 100% faithful to her love for RBD. The group recently dropped their unedited album and single titled, “Para Olvidarte de Mi,” but B-list fans may just get the boot because only 40,000 official copies were released. Maite recently revealed that el grupo is as unforgettable as the fanáticos on their main website:

The song Para Olvidarte de Mi describes this feeling: To forget about me, for me to forget about you, it’s not possible, with so many things lived, with so many experiences, we would have to re-birth, it would be very difficult to erase something so important in our lives. At least to me that is the base of everything.

Forget empezando desde cero! RBD plans on prolonging their goodbye by working on a farewell documentary produced by Pedro Damian. Will this bittersweet adios ever end?

The bella brunette is celebrating her 26th cumpleaños today! We have been missing the ex-Rebelde since the emotional finale of “Cuidado con el ángel,” but she won’t be staying M.I.A for too long. RBD is (temporarily) back from their break-up and in a promotional high for their latest unedited album, “Para Olvidarte de Mí.” Wondering what would be her greatest birthday regalo? Winning the upcoming Premios TV y Novelas award for “Best Young Actress.”

Have you managed to keep up with all the times RBD has said their final goodbyes?!

Bueno now you can add one more adios to your list. The Rebeldes are ready to bid farewell otra vez with their final unedited album release, “Para Olvidarte de Mí.” The first single baring the same title as the compilation has been on the airwaves for un minuto, but the production has nine more tracks that the group recorded before the most famous break-up since Bennifer. The album is set to hit stores March 10th in Mexico and March 24th in the U.S.

It is no surprise that the “Latino Brad Pitt” has been getting telenovela offers left and right, but it is uncertain whether la rubia has officially landed the role yet. Despite the uncertainty, Anahí revealed that she is confident that this will be the next step in her career.
